...DRY AND WINDY CONDITIONS CONTINUE ACROSS THE BASIN AND
KITTITAS VALLEY...

.Gusty winds will continue to ramp up through the afternoon and
early evening across the Columbia Basin and the Kittitas Valley.
This, combined with continued hot and dry conditions, will make
for critical fire weather conditions.

EVENING FOR WIND AND LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY FOR FIRE WEATHER ZONES
WA690 AND WA691...

* AFFECTED AREA...Fire Weather Zones 690 Kittitas Valley and 691
  Lower Columbia Basin of Washington.

* TIMING...Until 11 PM PDT this evening.

* WINDS...Northwest 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 35 mph.

* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 18 percent.

* IMPACTS...Any fire that develops will catch and spread
  quickly. Outdoor burning is not recommended.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions
are either occurring now, or will shortly. A combination of
strong winds, low relative humidity, and warm temperatures can
contribute to extreme fire behavior.
