FRIDAY...

* WHAT...For the Hazardous Seas Warning, very steep and hazardous
  seas 13 to 15 ft at 12 seconds and southwest winds 15 to 25 kt
  with gusts up to 30 kt. For the Small Craft Advisory, Rough bar
  conditions with seas 8 to 13 ft at 12 seconds and northwest
  winds 10 to 20 kt with gusts up to 25 kt expected.

* WHERE...In the Main Channel of the Columbia River Bar.

* WHEN...Hazardous Seas Warning, until 2 AM PST Friday. Small
  Craft Advisory, from 2 AM to 10 AM PST Friday.

* IMPACTS...Very steep and hazardous seas could capsize or cause
  damage to vessels.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Ebb current of 3.88 kt at 915 PM Thursday
  with seas 11 to 14 ft. Ebb current of 3.12 kt at 1038 AM Friday
  with seas 6 ft. Ebb current of 3.54 kt at 1026 PM Friday with
  seas 5 ft.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Hazardous Seas Warning means hazardous sea conditions are
imminent or occurring. Recreational boaters should remain in
port, or take shelter until waves subside.  Commercial vessels
should prepare for rough seas and consider remaining in port or
taking shelter in port until hazardous seas subside.

A Small Craft Advisory means that wind speeds of 21 to 33 knots
and/or seas 10 feet or higher are expected to produce hazardous
wave conditions to small craft. Inexperienced mariners,
especially those operating smaller vessels should avoid
navigating in these conditions.

  beyond 5 nm from shore south of Reedsport and near shore north
  of Reedsport.

* WHEN...For the Hazardous Seas Warning, until 4 AM PST Friday.
  For the Small Craft Advisory, until 4 PM PST Friday.

* IMPACTS...Very steep and hazardous seas could capsize or
  damage vessels. Bar crossings will become especially
  treacherous.
