* WHAT...For the Small Craft Advisory, seas 8 to 10 ft at 13
  seconds and south winds 20 to 30 kt. For the Gale Warning, seas
  11 to 16 ft at 12 seconds and south winds 30 to 40 kt with gusts
  up to 45 kt expected. Isolated storm-force gusts to 50 kt
  possible. For the Hazardous Seas Watch, very steep and
  hazardous seas 13 to 17 ft at 14 seconds and south winds 20 to
  30 kt with gusts up to 35 kt possible.

* WHERE...Outer Coastal Waters from Cape Shoalwater to Florence
  10 to 60 NM offshore.

* WHEN...Small Craft Advisory, until 5 AM PDT Tuesday. Gale
  Warning, from 5 AM to 11 PM PDT Tuesday. Hazardous Seas Watch,
  from Tuesday evening through late Wednesday night.

* IMPACTS...Strong winds will cause hazardous seas which could
  capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Seas may briefly fall below 10 ft this
  afternoon into this evening, but are expected to build again as a
  strong cold front crosses the waters Tuesday.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Gale Warning means winds of 34 to 47 knots are imminent or
occurring. Operating a vessel in gale conditions requires
experience and properly equipped vessels. It is highly
recommended that mariners without the proper experience seek safe
harbor prior to the onset of gale conditions.
