...BEACH HAZARDS STATEMENT REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH THURSDAY
EVENING...

* WHAT...Elevated surf of 3-6 feet with sets to 7 feet expected
  along with dangerous rip currents and minor coastal flooding.

* WHERE...San Diego County coastal areas and Orange County
  coastal areas, particularly along south and southwest-facing
  beaches.

* WHEN...Now through Thursday evening.

* IMPACTS...Dangerous swimming and surfing conditions and
  localized beach erosion. Flooding of low lying beach parking
  lots, boardwalks, and roads.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...High tides peak around 6.2 to 6.5 feet
  from 8-10 PM PDT this evening and Thursday evening.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain out of the water to avoid hazardous swimming conditions.
