...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in New
Mexico...

  San Juan River At Shiprock affecting San Juan County.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL LATE TONIGHT...

* WHAT...The river will remain above bankfull, but below minor flood
  stage through this afternoon.

* WHERE...San Juan River at Shiprock.

* WHEN...Until late tonight.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 7:00 AM MDT Saturday the stage was 15.1 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 13.5 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall to 7.7 feet Wednesday
    evening.
  - Flood stage is 15.5 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 14.5
    feet on 05/25/2005.
