...The National Weather Service in Grand Junction CO has issued a
Flood Warning for the following rivers in Colorado...

  San Juan River at Pagosa Springs affecting Archuleta County.

For the San Juan River...including Pagosa Springs...Minor flooding
is forecast.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

The next statement will be issued Monday afternoon at 230 PM MDT.

...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT FROM THIS MORNING UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...San Juan River at Pagosa Springs.

* WHEN...From this morning until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 11.0 feet, Water will approach the area around the
  River Center shopping complex in Pagosa Springs. Inundation of
  sections of Hermosa Street and low land areas adjacent to the
  river can be expected.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 10:00 AM MDT Sunday the stage was 9.6 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 8.5 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    late tomorrow evening to a crest of 10.9 feet early Tuesday
    morning. It will then fall below flood stage Tuesday morning.
  - Flood stage is 10.5 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    10.2 feet on 06/09/2019.

...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL MIDNIGHT MDT TUESDAY NIGHT...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. There is
  a potential for another round of heavy rainfall on Monday and
  Tuesday, which could lead to more flooding.

* WHERE...A portion of southwest Colorado, including the following
  counties, Archuleta, Hinsdale, La Plata and San Juan. North of
  Vallecito Reservoir.

* WHEN...Until midnight MDT Tuesday Night.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
  and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1142 AM MDT, Emergency management reported flooding is
    ongoing north of Vallecito Reservoir.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Vallecito.

Stay away or be swept away. River banks and culverts can become
unstable and unsafe.
