...HIGH SURF ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 5 AM WEDNESDAY TO 5 AM EST
THURSDAY...

* WHAT...Large breaking waves of 7 to 10 feet expected in the
  surf zone.

* WHERE...The beaches from Oregon Inlet to Surf City.

* WHEN...From 5 AM Wednesday to 5 AM EST Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Dangerous swimming and surfing conditions and
  localized beach erosion.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Increased wave action may lead to minor
  beach erosion and localized ocean over-wash, especially for
  vulnerable locations and southern facing beaches..

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Inexperienced swimmers should remain out of the water due to
dangerous surf conditions.
