...HEAT ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 11 AM FRIDAY TO 6 PM MDT SATURDAY...
* WHAT...Temperatures around 100 degrees in the Denver metro and up
to 103 across the eastern plains.
* WHERE...Portions of east central, north central, and northeast
Colorado including the Denver metro.
* WHEN...Worst heat will be from 11 AM to 6 PM MDT Friday and
Saturday.
* IMPACTS...Hot temperatures may cause heat illnesses.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of
the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.
Take extra precautions when outside. Wear lightweight and loose
fitting clothing. Try to limit strenuous activities to early morning
or evening. Take action when you see symptoms of heat exhaustion and
heat stroke.
