...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 5 PM THIS AFTERNOON TO 5 AM
MST FRIDAY...
...WINTER STORM WATCH NOW IN EFFECT FROM LATE TONIGHT THROUGH
SATURDAY MORNING...

* WHAT...For the Winter Weather Advisory, snow and poor travel
  conditions expected. Total snow accumulations up to one inch. Winds
  gusting as high as 30 mph. For the Winter Storm Watch, heavy snow
  possible. Additional snow accumulations between 5 and 9 inches
  possible.

* WHERE...Portions of south central and southeast Montana.

* WHEN...For the Winter Weather Advisory, from 5 PM this afternoon to
  5 AM MST Friday. For the Winter Storm Watch, from late tonight
  through Saturday morning.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be difficult late this afternoon and evening
  as rapidly falling temperatures combined with rain changing to snow
  may result in a flash freeze on some roads. Travel conditions will
  remain difficult into Saturday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Expect snow to become widespread and heavier
  Friday and continue into Saturday.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Slow down and use caution while traveling. For the latest road
conditions, call 5 1 1.

MST FRIDAY...

* WHAT...Snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 2 and 5
  inches. Winds gusting as high as 30 mph.

* WHERE...In Montana, Bighorn Canyon and Northern Carbon. In Wyoming,
  Sheridan Foothills.

* WHEN...From 6 PM this evening to noon MST Friday.

* IMPACTS...Plan on difficult travel conditions as roads become snow
  covered and slick.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Travel could be difficult this evening as
  rapidly falling temperatures combined with rain changing to snow
  may result in a flash freeze on some roads. This includes
  Interstate 90 through Sheridan.
