...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH FRIDAY AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
  possible.

* WHERE...Portions of northwest and west central Washington,
  including the following counties, in northwest Washington,
  Clallam, Grays Harbor, Island, Jefferson, Kitsap, Mason, San Juan,
  Skagit and Whatcom. In west central Washington, King, Lewis,
  Pierce, Snohomish and Thurston.

* WHEN...Through Friday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
  creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
  Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Storm drains
  and ditches may become clogged with debris. Area creeks and
  streams are running high and could flood with more heavy rain.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - An atmospheric river will continue to impact the area through
    much of the week and bring periods moderate to heavy rain to
    the region. Sharp rises are expected on area rivers,
    especially those flowing off the Olympics and Cascades.

    Urban and small stream flooding is possible for areas with
    poor drainage.

    Saturated soils will bring increased potential for landslides
    and debris flows on burn scars.

* WHAT...Flooding caused by rain and snowmelt continues to be
  possible.

* WHERE...A portion of North Central Washington, including the
  following county, Chelan.

* WHEN...Through Friday morning.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
  creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
  People, structures, and roads located below steep slopes and near
  recently burned areas may be at risk from rock and mud slides.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - An atmospheric river will bring an extended period of
    moderate to heavy rainfall to western and central Chelan
    County late Tuesday afternoon through early Friday. Rain and
    snowmelt will bring an increased risk for urban and small
    stream flooding and mud and rock slides on burn scars.

...The Flood Watch continues for the following rivers in Idaho...

  Coeur d Alene River at Cataldo affecting Kootenai and Shoshone
  Counties.

  St Joe River at Calder affecting Shoshone County.

For the Entiat River...including Ardenvoir...flooding is possible.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law
enforcement and request they pass this information to the National
Weather Service when you can do so safely.

Residents and those with interests near the river should monitor
rising water levels and be prepared for possible flood warnings.

If you are in the watch area, remain alert to possible flooding.

* WHAT...Flooding is possible.

* WHERE...Wenatchee River at Peshastin.

* WHEN...From Wednesday evening to early Saturday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 11.0 feet, Minor flooding of low-lying areas near the
  river can be expected.
  At 13.0 feet, Flooding is likely in low-lying areas, especially in
  the Cashmere area.
  At 15.0 feet, Major flooding is likely throughout the valley
  between Leavenworth and Wenatchee.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 3:15 PM PST Tuesday the stage was 8.7 feet.
  - Forecast...Flood stage may be reached late Wednesday evening.
  - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.  The river is forecast to crest
    near 15.7 feet Thursday afternoon.

* WHERE...Portions of central and south central Washington,
  including the following areas, in central Washington, Kittitas
  Valley, Simcoe Highlands and Yakima Valley. In south central
  Washington, Lower Slopes of the Eastern Washington Cascades Crest
  and Upper Slopes of the Eastern Washington Cascades Crest.

* WHEN...Through Friday morning.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
  creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
  Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Low-water
  crossings may be flooded. Area creeks and streams are running high
  and could flood with more heavy rain.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - Flooding has already been reported along the Naches and
    Yakima Rivers. More rain is expected to occur through the
    week, with heavy rain expected to fall over the Cascades the
    remainder of Tuesday into Wednesday.
