* WHAT...For the Small Craft Advisory, Rough bar conditions
  expected with seas 7 to 10 ft at 12 seconds and south winds 15
  to 25 kt with gusts up to 30 kt expected. For the Gale
  Warning, seas 12 to 15 ft at 13 seconds and south winds 25 to
  30 kt with gusts up to 40 kt expected. For the Hazardous Seas
  Warning, very steep and hazardous seas 13 to 15 ft at 12
  seconds and southwest winds 15 to 20 kt with gusts up to 30 kt
  expected.

* WHERE...In the Main Channel of the Columbia River Bar.

* WHEN...Small Craft Advisory, until 11 AM PST this morning.
  Gale Warning, from 11 AM this morning to 6 PM PST this
  evening. Hazardous Seas Warning, from 6 PM this evening to 2
  AM PST Friday.

* IMPACTS...Strong winds will cause hazardous seas which could
  capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Ebb current of 2.58 kt at 932 AM
  Thursday. Seas 8 to 9 ft. Ebb current of 3.88 kt at 915 PM
  Thursday. Seas 11 to 14 ft. Ebb current of 3.12 kt at 1038 AM
  Friday. Seas 6 to 7 ft.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Gale Warning means winds of 34 to 47 knots are imminent or
occurring. Operating a vessel in gale conditions requires
experience and properly equipped vessels. It is highly
recommended that mariners without the proper experience seek safe
harbor prior to the onset of gale conditions.
