WEDNESDAY...

* WHAT...Seas 9 to 10 ft.

* WHERE...Coastal Waters from Cape Flattery to Cape Shoalwater
  10 to 60 nm.

* WHEN...Until 4 PM PST Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Conditions will be hazardous to small craft.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Small Craft Advisory means that wind speeds of 21 to 33 knots
and/or seas 10 feet or higher are expected to produce hazardous
wave conditions to small craft. Inexperienced mariners,
especially those operating smaller vessels should avoid
navigating in these conditions.

MORNING...

* WHAT...Rough bar conditions expected. Seas around 10 ft and east
  winds 5 to 10 kt with gusts up to 15 kt.

* WHERE...In the Main Channel of the Columbia River Bar.

* WHEN...Until 10 AM PST this morning.

* IMPACTS...Conditions will be hazardous to small craft,
  especially when operating near to, or attempting to cross, the
  Columbia River Bar.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...First ebb...ebb current of 3.53 kt at 531
  AM Wednesday with seas to 10 ft. Second ebb...strong ebb current
  of 6.09 kt at 537 PM Wednesday with seas to 9 ft. Third
  ebb...ebb current of 3.67 kt at 613 AM Thursday with seas to 7
  ft.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Small Craft Advisory means that wave conditions are expected to
be hazardous to small craft in the vicinity of the Columbia River
Bar. Mariners are advised to obtain the latest bar conditions
from the United States Coast Guard before attempting to cross the
bar.
