...FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT THROUGH SATURDAY EVENING...
* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.
* WHERE...Portions of central and southeast Arkansas, including the
following counties, in central Arkansas, Garland, Grant and
Saline. In southeast Arkansas, Bradley and Cleveland.
* WHEN...Through Saturday evening.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Periods of locally heavy rain are expected through Saturday
as an upper level system moves through the region. Several
additional inches of rain will fall on ground that is already
saturated, leading to run off concerns and possible flash
flooding.
