...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of Somervell,
southeastern Erath and south central Hood Counties through 330 PM
CST...

At 244 PM CST, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 6
miles west of Chalk Mountain, moving northeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

This strong thunderstorm will be near...
  Dinosaur Valley State Park around 310 PM CST.
  Glen Rose and Squaw Creek Reservoir around 315 PM CST.

Other locations impacted by this storm include Chalk Mountain,
Paluxy, Johnsville, Rainbow, Selden, and Duffau.

...GUSTY SHOWERS WILL IMPACT SOUTHERN LUBBOCK...LYNN AND SOUTHEASTERN
HOCKLEY COUNTIES THROUGH 300 PM CST...

At 225 PM CST, Doppler radar was tracking gusty showers along a line
extending from near Reese Center to 9 miles south of Slide to 6 miles
east of Welch. Movement was east at 45 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Strong winds will occur before any
         rainfall.

Locations impacted include...
Lubbock, Slaton, Tahoka, Wolfforth, Ransom Canyon, O`Donnell,
Grassland, New Moore, Lubbock South Plains Mall, Lubbock
International Airport, Texas Tech University, Slide, Downtown
Lubbock, Woodrow, Reese Center, Wilson, Buffalo Springs, New Home,
and Lubbock Science Spectrum.

At 221 PM CST, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 12
miles west of Vance, or 14 miles south of Rocksprings, moving
northeast at 55 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Vance, Prade Ranch, and Devil`s Sinkhole State Natural Area.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
