...AIR QUALITY ADVISORY FROM THE IDAHO DEPARTMENT OF
ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY FOR POWER...BANNOCK...AND BINGHAM
COUNTIES...

* WHAT...Air Quality Advisory because of forecasted poor air
  quality. Air Quality Index is forecast to be Unhealthy for
  Sensitive Groups.

* WHERE...Power, Bannock and Bingham counties.

* WHEN...Until 11 AM MDT Monday 7/29/24.

* IMPACTS...Members of sensitive groups may experience health
effects. The general public is less likely to be affected.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Air pollutants can cause breathing difficulties for children, the
elderly, as well as persons with respiratory problems. Those
individuals who are sensitive to increased particulate matter or
smoke are encouraged to avoid prolonged or strenuous outdoor
activity during this advisory. Open burning is prohibited by air
quality rule. It is also recommended that all other individuals
limit prolonged or strenuous activity outdoors.

...AIR QUALITY ALERT IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 AM PDT SATURDAY...

An Air Quality Action Day has been forecast for southwest Elko
County for elevated particulate matter levels. These levels are
anticipated to be Orange/unhealthy for sensitive groups, and a Air
Quality Alert is in effect until Saturday morning.

Particulate matter levels are expected to be unhealthy for sensitive
groups. For additional information, please visit the EPA AIRNOW web
site at www.airnow.gov and click on Nevada.
