...FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1030 AM MDT THIS MORNING...

* WHAT...Urban area and small stream flooding caused by excessive
  rainfall continues.  Substantial flooding of area roads has been
  reported especially in the Stansbury Park area.

* WHERE...A portion of northern Utah, including the following
  county, Tooele.

* WHEN...Until 1030 AM MDT.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
  and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Streams
  continue to rise due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 741 AM MDT, local law enforcement reported slow moving
    thunderstorms with very heavy rainfall across the warned
    area. Between 1.5 and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen.
  - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.25 to 1 inch are possible in
    the warned area.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Tooele, Grantsville, Stansbury Park, Tooele Army Depot, Great
    Salt Lake South of the Causeway, Stockton, Erda and Lake
    Point.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
