This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northwest Colorado, southwest
Colorado, west central Colorado, east central Utah, northeast Utah
and southeast Utah.
.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.
Winter Weather Advisories continue today with snow gradually
tapering off north of I-70 by late this afternoon. However, a surge
of additional snowfall will work across the Central Mountains and
the San Juans this afternoon and into the overnight hours. Advisories
will continue overnight across our southern mountains. Snowpacked
mountain passes can be expected for commuters this evening and early
Thursday morning.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.
Mostly sunny skies and cool conditions are expected across the region
Thursday. A few remnant snow showers on the southern San Juans could
produce another inch or so of snow, but that all wraps up Thursday
afternoon. A persistent stretch of active weather and more snow for
the northern mountains and down to the I-70 corridor is looking
increasingly likely Friday and beyond. Steady northwest flow will
keep temperatures on the cold side of climatology during this
stretch.

Spotter activation is not expected today or tonight, however
spotters are encouraged to report snowfall amounts to the
National Weather Service in Grand Junction.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for Western and Central Wyoming.
.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.
Areas of blowing snow possible across Interstate 80 through the
morning, as winds subside.
Winds gusts of 35 to 50 mph will be possible late tonight north of
Cody and the Upper Wind River Basin.
Areas of fog will develop over portions of Yellowstone NP tonight,
and possibly spreading into northern portions of the Jackson Valley.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.
Thursday through Saturday night...Periods of snow will begin over
northwestern portions Thursday afternoon and spreading to far western
portions Thursday night. A break in the snow is possible Friday
afternoon, before starting again Friday night and ending late
Saturday night. Snowfall amounts of 1 to 2 feet is possible in the
western mountains and amounts approaching 12 inches in the
Jackson/Star Valleys over this 3 day period.
