  Weather Zone 484 Tavaputs Plateau, Fire Weather Zone 489 San
  Rafael Swell, Fire Weather Zone 492 Central Utah West Desert,
  Fire Weather Zone 493 Central Utah Mountains, Fire Weather

* WINDS...For Thursday, south to southwest winds 10 to 20 mph with
  gusts 30 to 35 mph, increasing on Friday to 15 to 25 mph with
  gusts 35 to 40 mph. The strongest winds are expected Saturday
  afternoon and evening, with sustained winds 20 to 30 mph with
  gusts 40 to 45 mph or greater.

* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...Falling into the 5 to 9 percent range each
  afternoon with poor overnight recovery of 15-25 percent
  Thursday and Friday nights.

* IMPACTS...Critical fire weather conditions are expected. Any
  new fire starts or existing fires may spread rapidly.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions
are expected. A combination of strong winds...low relative
humidity...and warm temperatures can contribute to extreme fire
behavior.

...RED FLAG WARNING FOR STRONG WIND AND LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY
CONDITIONS THURSDAY AND FRIDAY...

A strong low pressure system will increase southwesterly wind
speeds dramatically on Thursday and Friday across northeastern and
central Nevada. Combined with dry conditions and low relative
humidity values across the region, fire weather conditions will
exist in the warned locations midday Thursday through Friday
night. Thursday afternoon fire weather conditions will be
aggravated by hot temperatures in the upper 90s to near triple
digits for southern portions of Elko County. There will be a
break in high winds overnight Thursday into Friday but wind speeds
will continue and increase Friday afternoon.

FRIDAY FOR HIGH WINDS AND LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY FOR FIRE WEATHER
ZONES 425, 426, 427, 469, AND 470...

The National Weather Service in Elko has issued a Red Flag
Warning, which is in effect from 11 AM Thursday to 11 PM PDT
Friday.

* AFFECTED AREA...Fire weather zones 425, 426, 427, 469, and
  470.

* WIND...THURSDAY: Sustained wind speeds of 25-30 mph with wind
  gusts ranging 35-40 mph. FRIDAY: Sustained wind speeds of 25-30
  mph with gusts of 40-45 mph.


* HUMIDITY...Thursday and Friday afternoon relative humidity
  values range from 4% to 12%.


* IMPACTS...Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly.
  Outdoor burning is not recommended.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A red flag warning means that critical fire weather conditions
are either occurring now, or will shortly. A combination of
strong winds, low relative humidity, and warm temperatures can
contribute to extreme fire behavior.
