This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for north and central Georgia.
.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight...
Scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms are expected
this afternoon and evening. An isolated strong to severe storm or
two could develop this afternoon across central Georgia with wind
gusts in the 40 to 60 mph range. Rainfall amounts of 1-3 inches
with locally higher could lead to flooding potential of central
and western Georgia.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday...
Diurnally driven isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms
expected each afternoon and evening through Thursday. Persistent
rainfall through next week could pose a flooding threat,
particularly in central Georgia.

Spotter activation is not requested but spotters are encouraged
to submit reports of severe weather through the web by going to
weather.gov/atlanta. Please relay any information about observed severe
weather to the NWS.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for the counties served by the
National Weather Service office in Birmingham.
.DAY ONE...Outlook through Tonight.
There is a level 1 out of 5 risk for severe thunderstorms with
damaging wind gusts this afternoon and evening for locations south
of Interstate 20.
There is Level 2 out of 4 risk for excessive rainfall across eastern
and southeastern Central Alabama through this evening. Isolated
flash flooding events are possible.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.
No hazardous weather is expected at this time.
