...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT NORTHERN WAKULLA...SOUTH CENTRAL
GADSDEN...CENTRAL LIBERTY AND SOUTHWESTERN LEON COUNTIES THROUGH 615
PM EDT...

At 529 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 8 miles southeast of Blountstown to 13 miles
west of Crawfordville. Movement was east at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Tallahassee, Woodville, Crawfordville, Wakulla, Telogia, Lake
Talquin, Leon Sinks, Lake Munson, Wakulla Springs, Hosford,
Hilliardville, Eight Mile Pond, Vereen, Clio, Fort Braden, Silver
Lake Rec Area, Woods, Lowry, Bloxham, and Bethel.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

NORTHEASTERN TAYLOR COUNTIES THROUGH 600 PM EDT...

At 517 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Perry to 23 miles west of Mayo. Movement
was east at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Perry, Pinland, Cooks Hammock, Chancey, Smith, Buckville, Mayo
Junction, Townsend, Foley, Perry-Foley Airport, Bucell Junction,
Athena, Day, and Fenholloway.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
