...FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT FROM NOON MDT TODAY THROUGH THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.

* WHERE...Portions of Montana, including the following areas,
  Carter, Powder River, Pryor/Northern Bighorn Mountains, Southern
  Big Horn and Southern Rosebud and north central Wyoming, including
  the following areas, Northeast Bighorn Mountains and Sheridan
  Foothills.

* WHEN...From noon MDT today through this evening.

* IMPACTS...Heavy rain and excessive runoff may result in flooding
  of streams, ditches and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - Scattered thunderstorms this afternoon and evening have the
    potential to produce very heavy rainfall. Heavy rain would be
    especially problematic in areas that saw heavy rain on
    Tuesday. Included in the watch area are the Elk and Remington
    burn scars.
