...HIGH WIND WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 8 PM THIS EVENING TO 11 AM MST
SATURDAY...

* WHAT...West winds 35 to 45 mph, with gusts up to 80 mph possible.

* WHERE...Eastern Glacier National Park and adjacent foothills and
  plains.

* WHEN...From 8 PM this evening to 11 AM MST Saturday.

* IMPACTS...High winds may move loose debris, damage property and
  cause power outages. Travel could be difficult, especially for
  high profile vehicles.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

People are urged to secure loose objects that could be blown around
or damaged by the wind.

Remember, a High Wind Warning means that there is at least an 80%
chance of 40 mph sustained winds or 58 mph wind gusts occurring
during the warning period.

* WHAT...West winds 35 to 45 mph with gusts up to 65 mph expected.

* WHERE...Southern Wheatland, Melville Foothills, and Northern Sweet
  Grass.

* WHEN...From 11 PM this evening to 2 PM MST Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Strong crosswinds will make travel difficult along
  Highway 191 from Big Timber through Judith Gap.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The strongest winds are forecast early
  Saturday morning.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

People are urged to secure loose objects that could be blown around
or damaged by the wind.

Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high
profile vehicles. Use extra caution and consider postponing travel
until winds subside, or take an alternate route.

* IMPACTS...High winds may move loose debris, damage property, and
  cause power bumps. Travel could be difficult, especially for high
  profile vehicles.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain in the lower levels of your home during the windstorm, and
avoid windows. Watch for falling debris and tree limbs. Use caution
if you must drive.
