...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT
FROM 6 PM THIS EVENING TO NOON MDT SUNDAY...

* WHAT...Snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 2 to 6 inches

* WHERE...Portions of central, north central, and southwest Montana.

* WHEN...From 6 PM this evening to noon MDT Sunday.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions, especially on
  secondary roads in the mountains. Those in the backcountry should
  be prepared for wet and raw condtions. The heavy wet snow could
  bring down some trees and power lines.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Snow levels could be as low as 5000 feet at
  times.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Slow down and use caution while traveling. The latest road
conditions can be obtained by calling 5 1 1 or visiting the MDT Road
Report website.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be difficult, especially in the
  backcountry. Those recreating in the higher elevations should be
  prepared for winter weather conditions.

* WHAT...Wet snow expected for the Beartooth Highway. Total snow
  accumulations 3 to 6 inches. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph.

* WHERE...Absaroka/Beartooth Mountains.

* WHEN...From 6 PM this evening to 6 PM MDT Sunday.

* IMPACTS...Roadways will likely become slick, slushy and hazardous.
  Visibility may be limited in falling wet snow.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Anyone planning activities in the Beartooth
  Mountains should be prepared for winter like weather conditions,
  especially above 8000 ft.

  from snow is greater than 60 percent. Total snow accumulations up
  to 4 inches. Wind gusts around 30 mph in exposed areas.

* WHERE...In IDAHO, Eastern Lemhi County, Southern Clearwater
  Mountains, and Western Lemhi County. In MONTANA,
  Bitterroot/Sapphire Mountains, Butte/Blackfoot Region, and
  Potomac/Seeley Lake Region.

* WHEN...From 2 AM MDT /1 AM PDT/ Saturday to noon MDT /11 AM PDT/
  Sunday.

* IMPACTS...For MODERATE impacts from snow, expect disruptions to
  normal activities. Hazardous traveling conditions. Use extra
  caution while driving. Closures and disruptions to infrastructure
  may occur. For MINOR impacts from snow, expect a few
  inconveniences to normal activities. Use caution while driving.
  Increased risk of hypothermia.
