* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Salt Creek near Ada.

* WHEN...Until early Sunday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 18.0 feet, Minor low land flooding along the Salt
  Creek.
  At 20.0 feet, 50th Road just south of the bridge over the Salt
  Creek floods.


* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 3:45 AM CDT Friday the stage was 19.3 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    early tomorrow afternoon and continue falling to 12.1 feet
    early Wednesday morning.
  - Flood stage is 18.0 feet.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Solomon River near Niles.

* WHEN...Until just after midnight tonight.

* IMPACTS...At 19.0 feet, Water begins to overflow into the low
  portion of a cultivated field on the right bank, upstream,
  adjacent to the gage site.
  At 23.0 feet, Rural overflow begins around the community of Niles.
  At 24.0 feet, Low land flooding continues along the river.


* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 3:30 AM CDT Friday the stage was 25.6 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    this afternoon and continue falling to 11.0 feet early
    Wednesday morning.
  - Flood stage is 24.0 feet.

* IMPACTS...At 17.0 feet, Low-lying farm fields begin to flood. At
  18.0 feet, U.S. Highway 59 north of Fairfax begins to flood. At
  19.0 feet, Flooding begins in the vicinity of Corning.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 3:15 AM CDT Friday the stage was 20.7 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage late
    this morning and continue falling to 6.8 feet early Wednesday
    morning.
  - Flood stage is 17.0 feet.

  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 25.2 feet
    just after midnight tonight. It will then fall below flood stage
    Sunday morning.

  City begins to flood. At 22.0 feet, Flooding occurs at Humphreys
  Access Area which is located 5 miles downstream from Platte City.
  300 acres of pasture are also flooded.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 7:30 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 10.1 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage early
    Saturday afternoon to a crest of 21.4 feet Sunday morning. It
    will then fall below flood stage early Monday morning.
  - Flood stage is 20.0 feet.

EVENING...

* WHAT...Moderate flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...102 River at Rosendale.

* WHEN...From late tonight to Saturday evening.

* IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, Lowland agricultural flooding begins. At
  18.0 feet, State Route 48 on the east side of Rosendale is
  overtopped by flood waters. At 19.0 feet, State Route 48 on the
  east and west sides of Rosendale is under water. At 20.0 feet,
  State Route 48 is flooded on the east and west sides of town which
  prevents travel in or out of town.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 5:51 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 12.7 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage just
    after midnight tonight to a crest of 20.2 feet early tomorrow
    afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage late tomorrow
    evening.
  - Flood stage is 18.0 feet.
