This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of the Missouri
Ozarks and extreme southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

  Limited non thunderstorm wind risk.

DISCUSSION...

Winds will be gusty tonight out of the southeast to south at 25 to
35 mph at times. Scattered showers will increase in coverage
tonight across the area and while we can`t rule out an isolated
embedded thunderstorm, lightning coverage is expected to be
minimal.

Some snow may mix in with the rain after midnight tonight along
and east of Highway 63. Little to no wintry impacts are expected
from this, though there may be a brief period of slushy road
conditions tonight.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

There is an 90 to 100 percent chance for rain Saturday, with
diminishing precipitation chances into Saturday night. There
exists a low 10 to 20 percent chance for a thunderstorm or two.

Wind gusts could reach 30 to 40 mph Saturday and Sunday.

Another system will move towards the area Monday which could
cause additional winter precipitation, however confidence is low
at this time.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will not be needed through tonight.
