This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for west central Minnesota, north
central South Dakota and northeast South Dakota.
.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.
Downslope winds off the lee of the Prairie Coteau could result in
areas of blowing and drifting snow and reduced visibility.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.
Freezing rain will be possible across portions of north central and
northeast South Dakota Tuesday morning before temperatures warm up
enough for precipitation to fall as rain.
Very strong northwest winds are possible Tuesday afternoon through
Tuesday night. Sustained winds in excess of 40 mph, gusting in excess
of 60 mph, are possible over north central South Dakota Tuesday
afternoon into Tuesday night. Over northeast South Dakota and west
central Minnesota sustained winds in excess of 30 mph, gusting in
excess of 45 mph, are possible from early Tuesday evening through
the overnight hours.
If falling snow happens across far northeast South Dakota Tuesday
night into early Wednesday morning while these strong winds are
happening, considerable blowing snow and reduction to visibility
could be possible.

Areas of freezing fog this morning will lead to rapid changes
in visibility and/or a few slick spots through late morning.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.
A busy week is ahead with a risk of precipitation nearly every 1.5
days. Most of the precipitation events this will remain light, but
systems on Thursday and Friday will bear watching.
Stronger winds between Tuesday night into Wednesday could lead to
periods of blow/drifting snow.
A surge of arctic air over the weekend could lead to frigid wind
chills through Sunday morning.

Wyoming and southeast Wyoming.
.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT
- A High Wind Warning has been issued for the wind prone locations
of Arlington, Bordeaux, and the Laramie Summit for 11 PM Sunday
to 11 AM Monday.
- Generally light mountain snowfall expected for the Sierra-Madre
and Snowy ranges tonight through Monday morning.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY
- A High Wind Watch has been issued for almost all of our Wyoming
zones from Monday evening through Thursday morning. Highest
winds are expected Monday night into Tuesday, where gusts in
excess of 85 mph will be possible.
