...FLOOD ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 AM PDT THIS MORNING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...A portion of southwest California, including the following
  county, Ventura.

* WHEN...Until 800 AM PDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
  Minor rock slides and mud slides will be possible.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 449 AM PDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain. Minor
    flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the
    advisory area. Between 0.5 and 2 inches of rain have fallen.
  - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected
    over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
    flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Fillmore, Ojai, Santa Paula, Rose Valley, Lockwood Valley, La
    Conchita, Topatopa Peak, Highway 33 between Wheeler Springs
    and Rose Valley Road, Meiners Oaks, Reyes Peak, Alamo
    Mountain, Lake Casitas, Piru, Highway 33 from Lockwood Valley
    Road to the Santa Barbara County line and Lake Piru.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 439 AM PDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
    shortly in the advisory area.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Acton, Burbank, North Hollywood, Griffith Park, Pasadena,
    Santa Clarita, Mount Wilson, Alhambra, West Covina, Glendora,
    San Dimas, Altadena, Sunland, La Canada Flintridge, Pacoima,
    Glendale, Sylmar, Eagle Rock, Granada Hills and La Crescenta.

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
