...WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 6 AM THURSDAY TO
6 AM MDT FRIDAY ABOVE 8500 FEET...

* WHAT...Heavy snow above 8500 feet. Total snow accumulations of 8
  to 16 inches with locally higher amounts expected. Wind gusts
  over 35 mph are expected at times.

* WHERE...Southwest San Juan Mountains.

* WHEN...From 6 AM Thursday through 6 AM MDT Friday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Travel will become very difficult
  especially over mountain passes.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Storm Warning for snow means severe winter weather
conditions will make travel very hazardous or impossible. If you
must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food and water in your
vehicle in case of an emergency.
