...WIND ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 1 PM FRIDAY TO 4 PM AKDT SATURDAY...

* WHAT...South winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph expected.

* WHERE...Lower Koyukuk Valley, Lower Yukon and Innoko Valleys, and
  Middle Yukon Valley.

* WHEN...From 1 PM Friday to 4 PM AKDT Saturday.

* IMPACTS...High winds may move loose debris, damage property and
  cause power outages. Travel could be difficult.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A brief period of wet snow will quickly
  transition to rain Friday afternoon. Wind will increase Friday
  morning with peak gusts occurring between 4 PM Friday and 4AM
  Saturday.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

People are urged to secure loose objects that could be blown around
or damaged by the wind.

...WIND ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 10 PM THIS EVENING TO 4 PM
AKDT FRIDAY...

* WHAT...South winds 25 to 40 mph with gusts up to 55 mph expected.

* WHERE...Unalaska and Nikolski.

* WHEN...From 10 PM this evening to 4 PM AKDT Friday.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects and a few
  power outages may result.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...South winds will steadily increase overnight
  tonight and will peak around mid morning to noon Friday. Winds are
  expected to gust as high as 55 mph. Wind speeds will then trend
  down through mid afternoon Friday.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high
