...WINTER STORM WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 6 AM TUESDAY TO 6 AM AKST
WEDNESDAY...

* WHAT...Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 4 to 12
  inches.
* WHERE...Copper River Basin, with the highest snow accumulations
  expected south of Tonsina and along the Alaska Range from Paxson
  west.

* WHEN...From 6 AM Tuesday to 6 AM AKST Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The areas across central valley locations
  may see pockets of freezing rain Tuesday afternoon.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Storm Warning for snow means severe winter weather
conditions will make travel very hazardous. If you must travel,
keep an extra flashlight, food and water in your vehicle in case
of an emergency.
