* WHAT...Lake effect snow and blowing snow. Snow accumulations of
  up to two inches. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph.

* WHERE...Western Chippewa County.

* WHEN...Until 1 PM EST this afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. Patchy blowing
  snow could significantly reduce visibility.

* WHAT...Lake effect snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 2
  to 5 inches with localized amounts up to 7 inches.

* WHERE...Portions of Northern Lower Michigan.

* WHEN...Until 1 PM EST Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. Patchy blowing
  snow could significantly reduce visibility. The hazardous
  conditions could impact the morning or evening commute.

...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 PM EST
THURSDAY...

* WHAT...Snow expected. Total snow accumulations of up to 5
  inches.

* WHERE...Mason, Oceana, Ottawa, Allegan, Van Buren and Muskegon
  counties.

* WHEN...Until 4 PM EST Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous
  conditions could impact the evening commute today and the
  morning commute Thursday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Lake effect snow showers will begin by
  early afternoon. Snow showers will spread inland to near US-131,
  but by early this evening the snow showers will become more
  north to south orientated near US-31. Some blowing and drifting
  is expected this evening.

* WHAT...Lake effect and blowing snow. Additional snow
  accumulations of 1 to 3 inches. Winds gusting as high as 45 mph.
  Additional lake effect snow will continue through tonight.

* WHERE...Alger, Luce and Northern Schoolcraft Counties.

* WHEN...Until 1 PM EST this afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. Patchy blowing snow
  will significantly reduce visibility, especially along Lake
  Superior. The hazardous conditions will impact the morning
  commute.
