Minnesota...northeast Iowa and southwest into central Wisconsin.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Accumulating snow is expected for the entire area through this
evening. The highest totals of 1 to 2 inches are expected north
of Interstate 94 and in parts of northeast Iowa and far southwest
Wisconsin. Slick travel is probable for the evening commute.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Light snow showers will be seen today along and south of the Iron
Range and along the North Shore of Lake Superior. Snowfall amounts
of a dusting to around an inch are possible with the highest
amounts from the Hinckley to Park Falls/Phillips area. Slippery
roads will be possible for the morning commute.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday

A wintry mix is possible late Saturday into Sunday morning. Light
snow accumulation is possible.

southern Minnesota...and west central Wisconsin.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

One to two inches of snow is expected today along and north of
I-94 in west-central Wisconsin, with lesser amounts generally
around half an inch elsewhere into Minnesota. Light snow may lead
to slick roads and cause minor impacts to the morning commute
across central Minnesota,and evening commute across portions of
west- central Minnesota.

DISCUSSION:

Unseasonably cold air remains in place across the region this
morning. Early morning wind chills will range from 5 below to
5 above zero.

Light snow is expected across far northern Illinois tonight.
Accumulations will be minor, with areas along the Illinois
Wisconsin border perhaps receiving up to 1 inch.

drifting of already fallen snow. West to east oriented roads will
be most susceptible to minor drifting.

A wintry mix of precipitation is expected across portions of
central Iowa this morning, becoming mostly snow by midday. Some
light glazing is possible along with up to an inch of snow along
the Highway 20 to Highway 30 corridors. Lighter amounts are
expected outside of this area.
