across a flooded road. Turn around don`t drown!

  The James River Near Stratford.
* until further notice.
* At  9:45 AM Thursday the stage was 16.6 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and Minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 14.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river will continue gradually falling to below 16.6 feet over the next several days.
* At 17.0 feet...County roads begin flooding and the road 2 miles
  north of the gauging location is one of the first to flood.
