...FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 PM CDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...Portions of north central and northeast South Dakota,
  including the following counties, in north central South Dakota,
  Edmunds and Faulk. In northeast South Dakota, Brown and Spink.

* WHEN...Until 700 PM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
  and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Expect many
  areas of slow moving or standing water.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 456 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated slow moving
    thunderstorms with very heavy rainfall across the warned
    area. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain have fallen.
  - Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible in
    the warned area.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    North Scatterwood Lake and South Scatterwood Lake.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
