THURSDAY TO 5 PM MST /4 PM PST/ FRIDAY...
* WHAT...Strong winds and snow expected. There is a likelihood of
minor to moderate winter weather impacts. Total snow accumulations
up to 3 inches. Rapid drop in temperatures could quickly freeze
road surfaces.
* WHERE...In IDAHO, Southern Clearwater Mountains. In MONTANA,
Kootenai/Cabinet Region, Bitterroot/Sapphire Mountains, Lower
Clark Fork Region, and Missoula/Bitterroot Valleys.
* WHEN...From 11 PM MST /10 PM PST/ Thursday to 5 PM MST /4 PM PST/
Friday.
* IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will
likely become slick and hazardous. For MODERATE winter weather
impacts, expect disruptions to normal activities. Hazardous
traveling conditions. Use extra caution while driving. Closures
and disruptions to infrastructure may occur. The hazardous
conditions could impact the Friday morning and evening commutes,
especially over higher passes.
