A strong cold front will cross the region Wednesday night. A brief
burst of accumulating lake enhanced snow will develop northeast of
Lake Ontario over Jefferson County Wednesday night, then move south
to the higher terrain of the Tug Hill Plateau by Thursday morning.
Moderate to borderline heavy accumulations are expected in the most
persistent bands. Gusty winds will also produce blowing and drifting
snow.
