...HIGH WIND WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 7 PM THIS EVENING TO 8
AM EST THURSDAY...

* WHAT...West winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 60 mph expected.

* WHERE...Portions of southern Vermont, western Massachusetts,
  Mohawk Valley, eastern Catskills, Greater Capital District,
  portions of the Mid-Hudson Valley, Lake George-Saratoga region,
  and north and central Taconics.

* WHEN...From 7 PM this evening to 8 AM EST Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Damaging winds will blow down trees and power lines.
  Widespread power outages are expected. Travel will be difficult,
  especially for high profile vehicles.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A line of gusty showers and isolated
  thunderstorms will rapidly track across the region from west to
  east this evening. Winds will quickly shift to the west and
  strengthen. While the strongest winds will likely only last for a
  few hours tonight, these winds will be capable of damage including
  downed trees/limbs and power lines. Breezy conditions continue
  tomorrow morning before gradually decreasing in the afternoon.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Watch for blowing debris and tree limbs. Use caution if you must
drive.

* WHEN...From 4 PM this afternoon to 7 AM EST Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Damaging winds will blow down trees and power lines.
  Widespread power outages are expected. Travel will be difficult,
  especially for high profile vehicles.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Highest winds will be in the early evening
  between 7 pm to 10 pm with the frontal passage.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain in the lower levels of your home during the windstorm, and
