...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in South
Carolina...

  Congaree River At Congaree National Park-Gadsden affecting Calhoun
  and Richland Counties

.Recent rainfall combined with dam releases have produced minor
flooding along portions of the Congaree River.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Safety message...never drive vehicles through flooded areas. The
water may be too deep to allow safe passage. Never allow children to
play in or near flood waters. Stay tuned to noaa weather radio...
local media or the internet for further statements and updated
forecasts.

* Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring.
* Forecast...The river will continue to fall...Going below flood
  stage today.
* At 15.0 feet...Flooding begins in the Congaree National Park.

* At  7:00 PM Tuesday the stage was 13.74 feet.
* Flood stage is 13.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river will remain near 13.6 feet.
* Impact...At 13.0 feet...Low land flooding will occur along the river. The flood
  waters may affect some residential property as water backs up into the
  drainage ditches in the city.

  The Great Pee Dee At Pee Dee.
* until further notice.
* At  8:00 PM Tuesday the stage was 20.64 feet.
* Flood stage is 19.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river will continue rising to near 21.0 feet by early Thursday
  morning then begin falling.
* Impact...At 20.0 feet...Flood waters will affect swamplands and logging
  interests. Flood waters will affect timberland as far downstream as Yauhannah
  two weeks after the crest passes Pee Dee. Logging equipment needs to be moved.

  The Santee River near Jamestown.
* At 7 PM Tuesday the stage was 17.3 feet.
* Flood stage is 10.0 feet.
* Moderate flooding is occurring.
* Forecast, the river will continue to fall.
* At 17.0 feet, the lower half mile of Harris Landing Road is flooded
  and impassable and the residence at the end of the road is flooded.
  Lenuds Ferry boat landing at Highway 41 is inaccessible and the
  parking lot is flooded.

* Moderate flooding is occurring.
* Forecast, the river will remain nearly steady or slowly fall.
* At 14.5 feet, the bottom floor of several riverfront homes along Tom
  Goethe Road begins to flood.

* At 15.0 feet, flooding of some adjacent agricultural lands occurs.
  Most boat ramps along the river are unusable.
