...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of Lee and central
Sumter Counties through 500 PM EDT...

At 403 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Bishopville, moving south at 10 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Sumter, Bishopville, South Sumter, Mulberry, Lee State Park, Elliott,
Mayesville, Lynchburg, Ashwood, Lucknow, Oswego, Manville, East
Sumter, St. Charles, Wisacky, Ashland, and Shiloh.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 20 in South Carolina between mile markers 111 and 126.
 Interstate 95 between mile markers 140 and 146.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

At 401 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Summerton, or 13 miles southwest of Manning, moving south at 5 mph.

...Boaters on Lake Marion Should Seek Safe Harbor...

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Holly Hill, Santee Cooper Regional Airport, Eutawville, Vance, Eautaw
Springs, Indian Bluff Recreation Park, St. Paul, Rocks Pond
Campground and Marina, Blounts Landing, and Mill Creek Marina and
Campground.

This includes Interstate 95 between mile markers 100 and 107.

southwestern Clarendon, Barnwell, Bamberg and Orangeburg Counties
through 430 PM EDT...

At 333 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 16 miles northeast of Blackville to 9 miles
north of Denmark to 6 miles northeast of Bamberg to near Bowman to
near Elloree. Movement was southwest at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Orangeburg, Barnwell, Bamberg, Denmark, Brookdale, Williston,
Blackville, Branchville, Bowman, Claflin College, South Carolina
State University, Orangeburg County Airport, Barnwell State Park,
Rivers Bridge State Park, Edisto Gardens, Santee, Ehrhardt,
Springfield, Hilda, and Neeses.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 26 between mile markers 151 and 169.
 Interstate 95 between mile markers 85 and 100.
