This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northern New York, central
Vermont, northeast Vermont, northwest Vermont and southern Vermont.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

As snow tapers to showers early this morning, much colder air will
spread into the region on breezy northwest winds. Last night`s snow
accumulation and patchy blowing snow could make for a slippery Monday
morning commute. Motorists are urged to use caution and remain alert
for changing road conditions.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

After a light snowfall event late Tuesday, more widespread snow is
expected across Vermont and northern New York Wednesday and Wednesday
night. Daytime temperatures may allow a bit of rain to mix in the
Champlain and Connecticut Valleys Wednesday afternoon, but the bulk
of the precipitation will fall as snow. A general 1 to 4 inches of
snowfall is expected, with 4 to 7 inches possible across the higher
terrain of the Greens and Adirondacks. The Wednesday evening commute
may be impacted, along with the Thursday morning commute.

Spotter activation is not expected at this time.
