Thunderstorms today will be capable of producing very heavy
rainfall. Localized instances of lowland and poor drainage flooding
is possible.

Very heavy rainfall from showers and thunderstorms is expected this
afternoon through early this evening. Some of the storms could
produce torrential downpours, with isolated to scattered instances of
flash flooding possible due to slow moving or training
thunderstorms.

Scattered showers and thunderstorms capable of producing locally
heavy rainfall are expected again today, especially across Vermont.
Isolated flash flooding will be possible.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.
Heat and humidity will peak during the middle of the week, with heat
index values to reach into the mid 80s to mid 90s. Please follow heat
safety precautions, especially if you have to be outdoors.
