...FLOOD ADVISORY WILL EXPIRE AT 1130 AM CDT THIS MORNING...

The Flood Advisory will expire at 1130 AM CDT this morning for a
portion of south central Texas, including the following areas,
Edwards, Kinney, Real and Uvalde.

The heavy rain has ended. Flooding is no longer expected to pose a
threat. Please continue to heed remaining road closures.

...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 130 PM CDT THIS AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of south central Texas, including the following
  counties, Gillespie, Kendall and Kerr.

* WHEN...Until 130 PM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1018 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
    shortly in the advisory area. Up to 1 inch of rain has
    fallen.
  - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over
    the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Kerrville, Fredericksburg, Comfort, Ingram, Hunt, Tivydale,
    Harper, Kerrville-Schreiner Park, Cypress Creek, Waltonia,
    Doss, Center Point, Mountain Home, Grapetown, Cain City,
    Bankersmith, Cherry Spring, Rocky Hill, Crabapple and
    Enchanted Rock State Natural Area.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
