Winter Weather Advisories go into effect at 1 AM Friday across
portions of central Virginia. Farther to the north and east into
northern Virginia and central Maryland, light snow may start late
tonight and could affect the morning commute.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday

Winter Weather Advisories continue until 4 PM Friday. Elsewhere,
light snow is possible during the morning commute. This could
result in dangerous travel conditions. Freezing drizzle is
possible south of Highway 50 and east of the Blue Ridge Mountains
in the late afternoon and early evening.

Spotsylvania County. Farther to the north and east into southern
Maryland and the Baltimore/Washington metro areas, light snow may
start very late tonight and could affect the morning commute.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday

Winter Weather Advisories continue until 4 PM Friday across
Spotsylvania County. Elsewhere, light snow is possible during the
morning commute. This could result in dangerous travel conditions.
