conditions for parts of the South Shore.

There is a low chance of thunderstorms Thursday afternoon along
the South Shore.

storms could be strong to severe.
A rogue westerly gale force gust up to 35 knots is possible along

Michigan and western Upper Michigan.

There is a high swim risk along the Lake Michigan beaches of
Schoolcraft County today. See the latest Surf Zone Forecast and
Beach Hazards Statement for additional details.
A hot and humid airmass is expected over Upper Michigan today.
Those sensitive to heat, especially those without effective
cooling and/or hydration, will be impacted.
Thunderstorms are possible through this evening. Some of the
storms could be strong to severe.

southern Minnesota, and west central Wisconsin.
.DAY ONE...Tonight.
Isolated thunderstorms are possible across far-southern Minnesota
& portions of western Wisconsin into this evening. The strongest
storms could contain hail & gusty winds.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.
Multiple rounds of showers and thunderstorms are expected Tuesday
through Thursday. Heavy rain and flooding is likely wherever
thunderstorms train over the same areas. This potential is highest
across southern Minnesota & western Wisconsin.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for north-central and northeast
Wisconsin.
.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight
Strong to severe thunderstorms will cross the area this afternoon
and evening, with damaging winds, large hail, torrential
downpours and lightning the main risks. A severe thunderstorm
watch is in effect for much of central, east-central, and
northeastern Wisconsin through 10 PM. Rainfall rates of 1 to 2
inches per hour could result in localized flooding, especially in
urban and poor drainage areas.
The intense heat will come to an end from west to east today as
a cold front, along with showers and thunderstorms spreads
eastward across the area. A Heat Advisory remains in effect for
portions of central and east-central Wisconsin until 7 pm.
A Beach Hazards Statement is in effect until 7 pm today for an
increased risk of rip currents due to gusty south winds and high
waves at Lake Michigan beaches.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Monday
Additional thunderstorms are possible at times Tuesday into next
weekend. It is too early to determine the risk of severe weather
at this time. There is the potential for heavy rainfall Wednesday
and Thursday.
