...NEAR CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS ACROSS NORTHWESTERN AND
WEST CENTRAL MINNESOTA...

Relative humidity values will drop to around 20 to 30 percent
along with west winds gusting to around 30 mph at times early this
afternoon across portions of northwestern and west central
Minnesota. Winds are expected to be highest north of Highway 2 and
relative humidity values lowest in portions of west central
Minnesota. Given the extremely dry fuels, near critical fire
weather conditions are expected for the afternoon and early
evening hours. Any fire that does develop has the potential to
quickly spread.
