is possible in far northern Iowa.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northwest Iowa, west central
Iowa, southwest Minnesota, northeast Nebraska, central South
Dakota, east central South Dakota, south central South Dakota and
southeast South Dakota.
.DAY ONE...Tonight.
A band of light snow is moving across the region this afternoon. It
will continue to progress east-southeast this evening. Most
locations will see very light accumulation of a half an inch or less.
Areas along the Buffalo Ridge in southwest Minnesota may see totals
up to one inch.
Snow gradually tapers off over southwest Minnesota and northwest Iowa
after midnight.
Snow will linger for areas east of
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.
Active weather is in store for the upcoming week with multiple
chances for precipitation. The first is Tuesday afternoon into
Wednesday, where we could see some light rain that gradually
transitions to light snow in the overnight. In addition to the rain
and snow, winds will become very strong in the evening and continue
into Wednesday morning. Gusts over 40 mph are likely, which may lead
to blowing and drifting snow.
By Thursday we see our next chance for an impactful snow storm. There
are many uncertain details at this time, but now is the time to make
a back up plan if you are traveling the latter half of next week.
