* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
* WHERE...Southern and central Marion county.
* WHEN...Until 1000 PM CDT Thursday.
* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
and flood-prone locations is occurring.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1246 AM CDT, Emergency management reported road closures
due to heavy rain. Flooding is ongoing. Between 1 and 3
inches of rain have fallen.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Knoxville, Melcher-Dallas, Bussey, Hamilton, Marysville and
Knoxville Municipal Airport.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

* IMPACTS...At 13.5 feet, Water affects yards and access roads of
residences along Iowa Highway 22. Water affects the lowest
sections of campgrounds just north of I-80 along the river and the
lowest sections of Jack Shuger Memorial Park in Moscow. Water is
also on 152nd Street north of County Road F70.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 9:00 PM CDT Wednesday the stage was 11.2 feet and rising.
- Forecast...The river will rise to 12.7 feet early Friday
afternoon. It will then fall to 12.6 feet early Saturday
morning. It will rise above flood stage Saturday afternoon to
13.5 feet early Sunday afternoon. It will then fall below
