...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 915 PM CDT
FOR SOUTHEASTERN HANCOCK AND SOUTHERN MCDONOUGH COUNTIES...

At 854 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from Pennington Point to near Huntsville to Woodville,
moving east at 30 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Augusta, Bowen, Industry, West Point, Adair, Plymouth, Denver,
Pennington Point, Doddsville, Hancock County Fairgrounds, and
Stillwell.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
sturdy building.

Continuous cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Move indoors immediately. Lightning is one of nature`s leading
killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder, you are close enough to
be struck by lightning.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.

FOR SOUTHWESTERN FULTON AND SCHUYLER COUNTIES...

At 854 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Littleton, or 8
miles northwest of Rushville, moving southeast at 40 mph.

HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to mobile
         homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

This severe storm will be near...
  Rushville around 900 PM CDT.

Other locations impacted by this severe thunderstorm include Camden,
Frederick, Huntsville, Bluff City, Weinberg King State Park, Ray, and
Table Grove.

This also includes Anderson Lake State Fish and Wildlife Area, and
Weinberg-King State Fish and Wildlife Area.

or 24 miles east of Quincy Regional Airport, moving southeast at 55
mph.

HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and small hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to mobile
         homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

Locations impacted include...
  Woodville, Loraine, Chatton, La Prairie, Coatsburg, Paloma, Golden,
  Camp Point, Columbus, Clayton, Liberty, Mound Station, Kellerville,
  Mount Sterling, Buckhorn, Ripley, Coopertown, Versailles and La
  Grange.

This includes the following State Parks...
Siloam Springs State Park.

Anyone outdoors should move to shelter inside a well-built structure
and stay away from windows. This storm is capable of producing
