  South Grand River at Urich affecting Bates...Cass and Henry
  Counties.

...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Missouri...

  Big Creek at Blairstown affecting Cass...Henry and Johnson
  Counties.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Do not drive through flowing water. Nearly half of all flood
fatalities are vehicle related. As little as 6 inches of water may
cause you to lose control of your vehicle. Two feet of water will
carry most vehicles away.This product along with additional weather
and stream information is available at www.weather.gov/kc/.

  The Big Creek at Blairstown.
* until Sunday evening.
* At  8:00 PM Friday the stage was 16.6 feet.
* Flood stage is 20.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...Rise above flood stage by early Saturday morning and
  continue to rise to near 21.6 feet by early Saturday afternoon. The
  river will fall below flood stage by Saturday before midnight.
* At 20.0 feet...The west bank of the creek begins to flood.

The Flood Warning continues for
  The South Grand River at Urich.
* until Monday afternoon.
* At  8:15 PM Friday the stage was 27.3 feet.
* Flood stage is 24.0 feet.
* Moderate flooding is occurring and Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river will continue rising to near 28.0 feet by
  Saturday evening. The river will fall below flood stage early
  Sunday afternoon.
* At 28.0 feet...K Highway is under water approximately 1 mile south
  of Urich. Many other roads along the river are flooded as well.
* At 24.0 feet...Flooding occurs across locations within 0.5 to 1.5
  miles of the river. Areas affected include low lying pastures along
  with cropland and secondary roads.

    Clarksville Lock and Dam 24
    Winfield Lock and Dam 25
    Grafton

.This Flood Warning is a result of heavy rainfall across upstream
portions of the basin over the past month...

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Rainfall heavier than forecast could cause river levels to rise even
higher than predicted.  The National Weather Service will monitor
this developing situation and issue follow up statements as
conditions or forecasts change.

Safety message:  Never drive cars, trucks, or sport utility vehicles
through flooded areas.  The water may be too deep to allow for safe
passage.

* Flood stage is 41.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river will continue rising to near 44.0 feet by
  around midnight.  The river will fall below flood stage Sunday
  early afternoon.
* Impact...At 45.0 feet...Moderate flooding begins at the gage site.
