PST MONDAY...

* WHAT...For the Gale Warning, northwest winds 25 to 30 kt with
  gusts up to 40 kt and seas 12 to 17 feet expected. For the
  Hazardous Seas Warning, very steep and hazardous seas 13 to 16
  feet expected.

* WHERE...Pt St George to Cape Mendocino 10 to 60 nm.

* WHEN...For the Gale Warning, from 9 PM this evening to 11 AM
  PST Monday. For the Hazardous Seas Warning, from 11 AM to 10
  PM PST Monday.

* IMPACTS...Strong winds will cause hazardous seas which could
  capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners should alter plans to avoid these hazardous conditions.
Remain in port, seek safe harbor, alter course, and/or secure the
vessel for severe conditions.

...HAZARDOUS SEAS WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 4 AM TO 4 PM PST
MONDAY...

* WHAT...South winds 15 to 20 kt this afternoon, quickly shifting
  to northwest 15 to 25 kt with gusts up to 35 kt. Steep seas 10
  to 14 ft at 14 seconds through this evening, becoming very steep
  and hazardous 14 to 16 ft at 12 seconds. Conditions improve some
  Monday afternoon as north winds ease to 15 to 20 kt with gusts
  up to 25 kt and seas lower to 10 to 12 ft at 12 seconds.

* WHERE...All areas will experience conditions hazardous to small
  craft. Very steep warning level seas are expected beyond 1 to 2
  nm from shore south of Cape Blanco and beyond 10 nm from shore
  south of Cape Arago.

* WHEN...For the Small Craft Advisory, from 1 PM this afternoon
  to 4 AM PST Tuesday. For the Hazardous Seas Warning, from 4 AM
  to 4 PM PST Monday.

* IMPACTS...Very steep and hazardous seas could capsize or
  damage vessels. Bar crossings will become especially
  treacherous.

Recreational boaters should remain in port. Commercial vessels
