* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Northwestern Gillespie County in south central Texas...
  Western Llano County in south central Texas...

* Until 345 PM CDT.

* At 1225 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
  heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1.5 and 5 inches of
  rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are
  possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is already occurring.

  HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms
           producing flash flooding.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
           urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Llano, Castell, Prairie Mountain, Cherry Spring, Field Creek and
  Doss.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

  Northeastern Llano County in south central Texas...

* Until 345 PM CDT.

* At 1205 PM CDT, Emergency management has reported numerous road
  closures due to thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the
  warned area. Between 1 and 5 inches of rain have fallen.
  Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible in the
  warned area. Flash flooding is already occurring.

  HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms
           producing flash flooding.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
           urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Llano, Buchanan Dam, Buchanan Lake Village, Lone Grove, Baby Head,

  warned area. Flash flooding is already occurring.

  have fallen. The expected rainfall rate is 0.5 to 1.25 inches in 1
  hour. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

  HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms
           producing flash flooding.

* Until 200 PM CDT.

* At 1142 AM CDT, Emergency management reported flash flooding in
  water over the road at RM 963 and CR 201 as result of the San
  Gabriel River. Additionally, numerous road closures are noted. Up
  to 1 inch of rain has fallen. The expected rainfall rate is 1 to 2
  inches in 1 hour. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are
  possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is already occurring.

  HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Heavy rain producing
           flash flooding.

  SOURCE...Emergency management reported.

  IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
           urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Georgetown, Burnet, Bertram, Florence, Mahomet, Joppa, Shady Grove
  and Andice.

  rainfall amounts of 0.25 to 0.5 inches are possible in the warned
  area. Flash flooding is already occurring.
